Here is the basic storefront for Panda Panda, our generic mall Chinese joint. Obviously, it isn't textured yet. The benches and tables were all created in Maya.

An early test to determine the relative heights of the characters. Rick is supposed to be taller than William, but not that much bigger. The "David" figure, which we used as a base for William, is roughly 5'5" (about 165 cm). We ended up rescaling to make him taller. Maria remained short, about 5'3" (about 160 cm).

An early visualization of the scene where Maria is confronted by some threatening guys at the mall. We put this together to work out some ideas regarding that scene. The backgrounds are obviously quite primitive and the lighting is harsh. For those who are curious, that's Walter on the right and James in the center.
